(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Jenny McCarthy says she's a "hopeless romantic".

The 39-year-old model and actress recently split from Brian Urlacher. Despite being newly single Jenny is keeping her head held high and has been enjoying spending time with her friends in Las Vegas.

The blonde star says she is refusing to get down about her break up and remains optimistic about finding love again in the future.

"You know, I'm a hopeless romantic," Jenny told US Weekly. "I always think positively. I'm looking forward to my next adventures and what's ahead."

Jenny and Chicago Bears American football star Brain were dating for four months. After the split was announced last week the mother-of-one said the couple hope to maintain their friendship.

She says she will continue to support her ex-partner even if they are no longer romantically involved.

"Brian and I have decided to turn our romance into an amazing friendship," Jenny told People magazine in a statement. "I will continue to be the biggest cheerleader for him. Go, Bears!" (C) Cover Media
