Jessica Simpson has reportedly decided what to call her baby daughter.
According to a source, the pregnant star and fianc Eric Johnson have been considering a whole host of names of late and have now decided on a final moniker for their bundle of joy.
In Touch magazine reports that the couple are excited to welcome their soon-to-be-born daughter with the meaningful name.
"They tossed around a lot of names, including some wacky ones like Zinfandel, but couldn't agree on anything," a friend of the family shared.
"They're going to call her Maxwell, Maxi for short."
Maxwell is Eric's middle name, and also his grandmother's maiden name.
"Jessica wanted a name with meaning," the source continued.
Jessica has been spotted wearing a M' pendant and the pair have allegedly already ordered "onesies monogrammed with the name".
Jessica is due to give birth next month. The pair are exciting to welcome the new addition to their family.
"She's gained so much weight and the baby is so big that doctors pushed up the date," the insider added.
"Jessica and Eric are so eager to meet Maxwell!"
Jessica and Eric announced their engagement in 2010 after just five months of dating.
Last November they confirmed the baby news and later revealed they are having a daughter.
