(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Jessica Simpson has declared her fianc is "so hot".

The 31-year-old has been dating former American football player Eric Johnson since May 2010. The pair announced their engagement in November last year and they are currently expecting their first child together.

Jessica has revealed the spark is clearly still alive in their relationship, after taking to her Twitter account earlier today to gush about her handsome husband-to-be.

"My man is SO hot (sic)," Jessica wrote as she posted a black-and-white profile shot of Eric.

Jessica has been enjoying some quality time with Eric over the Christmas holidays.

On December 26, the couple were photographed in Santa Barbara, California, holding hands and laughing as they took a walk in the sunshine. Jessica looked happy and healthy as she showed off her growing baby bump in a loose fitting green turtleneck sweater.

Jessica is expected to give birth in the spring.

The singer-turned-fashion-mogul will marry 32-year-old Eric after the baby has arrived.

Last week, Jessica was spotted browsing racks of wedding dresses at a Monique Lhuillier store.

She recently revealed she is enjoying her pregnancy and the prospect of motherhood has boosted her confidence.

"Right now I feel empowered and sexy," she said. "I'm really loving having life inside of me and I'm doing cheesy things." (C) Cover Media
