Jessica Simpson has reportedly decided to have a caesarean section when she gives birth.
The 31-year-old is expecting her first child with fianc Eric Johnson later this year.
She was taking lessons to help prepare her for a natural childbirth, but a source has told In Touch that the singer-turned-fashion mogul has stopped going.
Jessica's younger sister Ashlee was apparently in labour for three days and going through the Lamaze class reminded her of what her sibling endured.
"Jessica can't wait to become a mother, but she quickly decided that giving birth the old-fashioned way just wasn't for her," the insider said.
"So she is planning a C-section in late April. She's already booked a $2,800 suite at Cedars-Sinai hospital in LA.
"Jessica knows that what Ashlee went through to get Bronx was worth it, but wants to skip the pain."
Jessica is looking forward to welcoming her first child into the world and has enjoyed her pregnancy. She recently admitted she's been suffering from cravings during it.
"This week it's peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, toasted," she previously said. "And then, I'll put some salt on my hand like I'm taking a tequila shot and then take a bite of the sandwich."
