It was earlier in the news that Kollywood actress Kajal Aggarwal might be roped in to be Jiiva's leading lady in his upcoming movie 'Yaan', to be directed by Ravi .K. Chandran. But, it was later confirmed that actress Karthika Nair's younger sister Thulasi would be his pair. Thulasi who is just 14 years old is also doing director Mani Ratnam's upcoming film, 'Kadal'. 

An interesting fact is that Jiiva is a 28 year old actor, while Thulasi is exactly half his age. Now, the younger sister seems to be giving tough competition to her elder sibling, much like how it was between their mother yesteryear actress Radha and her elder sister, actress Ambika. Both the sibling actresses graced Kollywood with their performances together, over a decade ago.
