(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Joe Manganiello cannot resist the urge to begin "dancing" in public.
Joe stars in upcoming drama Magic Mike. The feature directed by Steven Soderbergh centres on the exploits of male strippers.
Joe performed six dance routines in the film and has caught the boogie bug as a result.
"Once you start doing it, you want to keep doing it," Joe explained to E! Online at the GQ Men of the Year party. "You find yourself in the morning going to the gas station, filling up your car with gas and the song [from the Magic Mike dance scene] is playing and you just start dancing. I'm like, 'Someone in this gas station's going to get it.' It's a lot of fun. There's probably a Funny Or Die video in there somewhere."
Joe plays character Big D**k Richie in the film. The actor's younger brother Nicholas is the butt of many jokes as a result.
"The fact that they're calling my brother Big D**k Nick at work that makes it completely worth it," Joe laughed. "They're like, Big D**k Nick, get the phone!'"
Magic Mike is an extremely fun filming experience for Joe so far. He begins shooting the fifth season of supernatural series True Blood in about a week and is excited about the show's developments.
"I know everything that happens to my character [Alcide] pretty much the entire season. I've read the first two scripts. There are a lot more werewolves! There are going to be more werewolves for me to play with - some hot-chick werewolves and badass dudes," he said.
Magic Mike and the fifth season of True Blood will be released in 2012. (C) Cover Media
