(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Joel Madden has been giving Carey Hart advice on how to care for his pregnant wife Pink.

Pink and Carey confirmed they are expecting their first child together last week, with Pink saying she has a feeling it will be a girl. The couple are good friends with Nicole Richie and her fianc Joel Madden, who have daughter Harlow, two, and 14-month-old son Sparrow together.

Joel knows pregnancy can be a tough time for couples, so has been giving Carey some tips on how to ensure it all goes smoothly.

Joel urged Carey to wait on Pink hand and foot and joked that being Nicoles personal servant was the key for him to make it through her two pregnancies, a source laughed.

Nicole and Pink have also been discussing the new arrival. Nicole was quick to congratulate Pink on Twitter once she made her public announcement, but it has been claimed she was one of the main reasons the singer decided to start a family.

Nicole thinks motherhood is the best gift in the world, the source added to National Enquirer. She told Pink none of the thrills of the rock star life or travelling the world could compare to the joys of having a child. (C) Cover Media
