John Travolta denies sexual assault claims

8th May 2012

John Travolta has denied sexually assaulting a masseur.

The Hollywood star was hit with a $2 million lawsuit by an anonymous plaintiff claiming John inappropriately harassed him during a massage.

But John's representative has released a statement stringently denying the allegations and stating he plans to countersue for malicious prosecution.

"This lawsuit is a complete fiction and fabrication," the statement read. "None of the events claimed in the suit ever occurred."

"The plaintiff, who refuses to give their name, knows that the suit is a baseless lie.

"On the date when the plaintiff claims John met him, John was not in California and it can be proved that he was on the East Coast."

The complaint alleges that the incident took place in Los Angeles in January 2011 and that John scheduled a $200 an hour appointment which took place at the Beverly Hills hotel.

The plaintiff claims that John inappropriately touched his private parts which resulted in "anguish, anxiety and shame."

But the actor's rep says the accuser's attorney is just trying to get his "15 minutes of fame."
