Johnny Depp has reportedly bought Amber Heard a horse so they can spend time together.

The pair appeared alongside each other in The Rum Diary and rumours about the nature of their relationship have been rife since.

Johnny officially announced his split from long-term love Vanessa Paradis this week, with reports suggesting that the couple tried hard to salvage their 14-year relationship.

It has now been reported that things "seem to be heating up" between Johnny and Amber. The 26-year-old blonde actress is said to be a "regular visitor" to the set of The Lone Ranger in New Mexico where Johnny is currently shooting.

According to British newspaper The Daily Mail, the 49-year-old star is even said to have bought Amber a horse "so they can ride together", as reported in Globe magazine.

Johnny and his former partner Vanessa have apparently been living separate lives for several months and have not been seen publicly together in a while.

The Hollywood hunk was reportedly seen cosying up to his Rum Diary co-star Amber Heard in Vegas last month.

Johnny and Vanessa have two children together; Lily-Rose, 13, and Jack, nine.
