(Cover) - EN Movies - Johnny Depp insists his partner Vanessa Paradis has made him a "better man".

The Hollywood actor met his long-term French love in 1998 whilst filming The Ninth Gate. Although the pair aren't married, they have two children together, daughter Lily-Rose Melody and son John "Jack" Christopher.

Johnny, who has formerly dated British supermodel Kate Moss, says Vanessa has changed his outlook on life and continually amazes him with her humble nature.

"Even though she was successful, she wasn't warped by fame. She also has a great sense of humour and can get me out of my bad moods. I can still fly off the handle and she's the one person who's able to get me to see things differently," he explained in an interview with Look magazine. "She's helped me become a better man."

Johnny, 47, says that being with Vanessa felt natural from the beginning. The hunky actor believes love is unexplainable, and that sometimes things happen which aren't logical.

"It's hard for me to explain how everything has worked out so well for me since I met Vanessa. How was it that I saw her sitting in a restaurant one day in Paris? Why did we feel so right for each other? You can't explain those things," he gushed. (C) Cover Media
