(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Angelina Jolie says working with Johnny Depp and Tim Burton would be like joining a wonderful family.

Angelina developed a friendship with Johnny when the pair starred in The Tourist and she is keen to find an opportunity for them to team up again. The Hollywood beauty has previously revealed that she was a fan of Sleeping Beauty when she was a child and expressed her interest in taking part in Maleficent a retelling of the classic tale from the perspective of the evil fairy godmother. Tim is set to direct the movie and Angelina would relish the opportunity to work with both Tim and Johnny on the project.

"Oh, of course," Angelina told MTV News when asked if she would be interested in joining the cast. "I think every actor would be open to that. They are such a special team, and so you'd feel like you'd be entering a family that is such a wonderful, existing family."

Earlier this year, Angelina revealed Sleeping Beauty was her favourite character as a child, before adding the prospect of being directed by Tim would be extraordinary.

Although the kooky filmmaker is currently working on Dark Shadows a movie which will once again see him team up with Johnny he is still thinking about developing Maleficent. Tim is looking forward to casting for the animated film and hopes Angelina will be involved.

"I'd love to work with her," the director said last month. "We're working on a script for that. It's hard to know when that script will be ready. But I'm a huge fan. I'd love to work with her. That would be a good one." (C) Cover Media
