(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Reese Witherspoons boyfriend Jim Toth has reportedly been ring shopping, with sources saying he will propose over the holidays.

Jim has been dating the movie star since the beginning of the year, and their relationship has been going from strength-to-strength lately.

For some time now rumours have been flying around that the pair intend to marry, and Jim has now been spotted looking at engagement rings. Apparently the Hollywood agent doesnt want to buy anything too ostentatious, as Reese prefers to sport a more laidback style.

He was looking for something pretty big, around three or four carats. Reese probably wouldnt wear anything larger than that since shes not showy, a source told RadarOnline.com.

The source believes Jim will pop the question to Reese very soon, and he is said to have been visiting a string of exclusive jewellery stores, notably Harry Winston. It has been claimed Jim wants to go all out on the proposal, with the source explaining price wasnt an issue.

Reese was previously married to handsome actor Ryan Phillippe, and they have two children together; a daughter called Ava, 11, and seven-year-old son Deacon.

It is not known exactly when Jim will ask for Reeses hand in marriage, although there is a good chance he could be planning to do it over Christmas.

It is expected to happen over the holidays, added the source.
