It seems like Bollywood fans have finally woken up to films which not only have entertainment but also a strong story to tell.
The success of films like 'Kahaani', 'Paan Singh Tomar' and 'Vicky Donor' have proved that audiences want quality films apart from commercial entertainers. And the latest to join the marquee is filmmaker Subhash Kapoor's 'Jolly LLB'.
The film set with the Indian Judicial System in the backdrop starred Arshad Warsi and Boman Irani in the lead roles. It had stiff competition with Viki Rajani's '3G' and Yash Raj Films' 'Mere Dad Ki Maruti'. But amongst the three, 'Jolly LLB' has raced ahead.
The film has scored 12.20 crore in the first three days of its release, getting decent critical reviews from audiences and critics alike.
