(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Jon Cryer is a new "convert" to the "cult of Ashton".
Jon and Ashton Kutcher are co-stars on television programme Two and a Half Men. In May of this year Ashton replaced Charlie Sheen on the show after Charlie was sacked. Jon believes that Ashton is a fantastic new cast member.
"I'm already converted to the cult of Ashton," Jon told Ryan Seacrest at the Primetime Emmy Awards in Los Angeles Sunday night. "You will be too."
Jon has high opinions of his co-star. He thinks that Ashton is a wonderful person. Jon is also a big fan of his co-star's height.
"[Ashton is] a great guy," Jon said. "I like him. He's younger, taller it's a totally different thing."
Charlie's departure from the show made a huge impact on Jon. Although it was a difficult situation, he's learned to accept what happened.
"I get it, I get it," Jon said. "But I've made my peace with [Charlie's departure]."
Charlie has come to terms with the withdrawal as well. Presenting an award at the Emmy's, Charlie took the time to wish his former castmates and crew members well.
"From the bottom of my heart I wish you nothing but the best for this upcoming season," Charlie said. "We spent eight wonderful years together and I know you will continue to make great television."
The ninth season of Two and a Half Men premieres in the US on September 19. (C) Cover Media
