(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Josh Duhamel is proud he indirectly kissed Katherine Heigls husband while shooting his new movie.

The actor appears alongside Katherine in Life as We Know It. The pair play Eric and Holly, who are tasked with caring for a little girl when her parents, who are their friends, die.

During shooting Josh and Katherine had to smooch and it was a scene the actor enjoyed, although not for the obvious reason. He greatly admires Katherines musician husband Josh Kelley, and relished the chance to get close to him.

"Personally, I'm a big fan of Katherine's husband, Josh Kelley, so kissing her in Life as We Know It was like indirectly getting to make out with him," he told Parade.com, before confirming he was joking. "Josh didn't come around to the set during our big lip-lock. Katherine says he's never there when she has to do a make-out scene.

Katherine has previously admitted her husband struggles to understand the need for her to kiss in films and as a result prefers not see the end result.

The actress and her spouse are parents to twenty-month-old daughter Naleigh, who they adopted from South Korea. The pair became parents shortly before Katherine started shooting Life as We Know It, something which had a great effect on the whole cast.

"I remember Katherine saying, 'At some point during the movie I'm probably going to finally get my adopted daughter. But it will probably be a month after we begin.' Then she shows up four days before we started shooting with her new baby. I was like, 'Oh, my God. It's here.' Little Naleigh was just a little sweetheart, Josh Duhamel added. She's so squishy and cute. She makes you want to chew on her cheeks." (C) Cover Media
