(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Julianne Hough says there is "still time" for marriage and children.

The actress is in no rush to walk down the aisle and become a mother because she wants to make the most of her career first.

The dancer-and-country singer has been dating US star Ryan Seacrest since 2010 and has found a way to stop speculation about engagement rumours.

"There is still time for a wedding and children. I think I want to be a mom in the future. I have four brothers, I love children. But this is a golden moment for my career and I don't want to miss it," she told the Italian edition of Vanity Fair, before adding how she keeps photographers in check. "I always wave hello to the paparazzi with my left hand, since their purpose is to see if I have a wedding ring. Nevertheless, the magazines already announced our engagement six or seven times."

It was recently reported that Julianne is waiting to move in with Ryan until he proposes.

Julianne moved to Los Angeles to rebel because she had become unsatisfied by her dance-dominated life.

While she sometimes longs for the experience of a normal childhood, she believes growing up in the competitive dance industry has turned her into the person she is today.

"In my family, we always had passion for dancing and singing. My four grandparents were little dancing champions [I became] a teenage rebel and felt unsatisfied; I didn't know what to do," she explained.

"So I went to LA where I dreamt of becoming a country singer. I recorded a couple of albums, but my career didn't take off. When they proposed to me to become a mentor on Dancing with the Stars, at first I didn't want to accept. Maybe I regret the fact that I didn't have a normal' life, but I think that all these years at dance school have shaped my character. And we used to travel a lot, which I liked." (C) Cover Media
