(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Justin Bieber has revealed his role model is biblical character Jobe.

The Canadian pop sensation was discovered in 2008, but achieved worldwide success last year when he released his single Baby in January.

The 16-year-old career has soared ever since, and his debut 3D biopic-concert film Justin Bieber: Never Say Never was released in the US earlier this month. In the film, Justins Christian faith is referred to throughout. The singer has never shied away from religion - he was singing and uploading Christian songs on YouTube before he became famous. The singer has revealed his top role model, from past or present, is the biblical character Jobe.

Jobe is my role model. Serious, he told Cover Media. He got tortured, everything was taken away from him his family, his job, his cattle, everything, and he was still faithful to God. He didnt know why it happened, but he still put his faith in God and remembered that everything happened for a reason.

In the new 3D film, fans see Justin and those closest to him expressing their faith. Several scenes show the singer praying before concerts, and his born-again Christian mother Pattie Mallette discusses how God brought stability to her life as a single teenage mother.

Although he looks up to the Bible for role models, Justin also admires other stars in the industry. He is a big fan of Britney Spears, and was thrilled to hear shed been praising his movie on Twitter.

"I think she's very talented. Hopefully, maybe we will be able to work something out," he told Extra.
