(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Justin Bieber's perfume has become the "biggest celebrity fragrance launch in history".

The teen sensation has proved himself to be a success in both music albums and at the cinema box office, and now Justin has shattered records with his ladies fragrance Someday. Released late last month at New York's Macy's store, the fragrance has already sold $3 million.

"(It) has now become the biggest celebrity fragrance launch on record,"exclaimed the excited Macy's Inc president, Terry Lundgren. In just three weeks it has made the same total as Beyonce Knowles' Heat fragrance did in a month.

"We haven't seen anything like this since (Jennifer Lopez's) Glow and (Britney Spears') Curious," an industry analyst told Women's Wear Daily.

Justin had to be protected by his adoring fans when he launched the Someday Eau De Parfum in June.

"Let's be real, the way a girl smells is very important to a guy! I have such a deep connection with my fans, so creating a fragrance that I personally love is another way I can bring them close to my world," the 17-year-old had said ahead of the launch. (C) Cover Media
