(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Justin Timberlake has revealed he didn't "instigated anarchy" at school, despite being the class clown.
The singer-and-actor began his long-standing career on Disney Channel's TV series The New Mickey Mouse Club alongside Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera.
Justin says that his early fame meant he often missed school, so he would act a "clown" to compensate.
Despite his mischievous behaviour, Justin insists he never cause trouble amongst his fellow students.
"I had a very weird freakish childhood, started on a television show when I was ten," he admitted in an interview with Extra. "I was going back and forth to school, but I was probably more a class clown, but not in a way where it would instigate anarchy. I kind of got away with most of it. I was a pretty good student."
Justin stars alongside his ex-partner Cameron Diaz in upcoming comedy movie Bad Teacher.
The 30-year-old says that despite being former lovers, they had a great time working together on set because they were able to bounce off each others' comic personalities.
"We were happy to have this movie together because we share a sense of humour, always have, always will," he revealed. "We're great friends, and we had a great experience together, and now we're having a great experience together in completely different way."
Bad Teacher opens in theatres on June 24. (C) Cover Media
