The makers of 'Helicopter Eela' has preponed their film's release date which was confirmed as a 14th September release. With Kajol smiling in a yellow background poster, the makers just gave away the film's new release date. It is just preponed by a week and will now release on the 7th of September.

Sharing the film's poster, Kajol captioned, the poster as,"Fooled you... coming on 7th September now #MomsRock @ajaydevgn @helicoptereela @pradeepsarkar #SirshaRay #RiddhiSen @nehadhupia #ADFFilms #JayantilalGada @saregama_official."

The 43-year-old is reported to play a role of a strict possessive mother. 

Meanwhile, the film will now clash with Ekta Kapoor-Imtiaz Ali's joint venture 'Laila Majnu', which has a fresh pair of new-comers, J P Dutta's 'PALTAN' andTarunn Mansukhani's directorial 'DRIVE' starring Sushant Singh Rajput-Jacqueline Fernandez.

However, it will be interesting to see whether the rest of the makers change the release date of their films to avoid such a clash. The film also features National Award winning actor, Riddhi Sen who will be playing Kajol's son, Neha Dhupia and Tota Roy Chowdhary in the major role.

'Helicopter Eela' is bankrolled by Ajay Devgn, is reportedly based on writer Anand Gandhi's Gujarati play 'Beta Kaagdo'.
