Come November 7th, it is the birthday of Ulaga Nayagan Kamal Haasan which is celebrated year after year with various meaningful activities by his fans all over the world.

This year too there is no exception. In a statement, Thangavelu, state in-charge of Kamal Haasan Narpani Iyakkam, said, "We have organised various welfare activities in every district on the day to commemorate Ulaga Nayagan's birthday.

Thangavelu added, "He always motivated us to help the poor and needy. It is our utmost duty to follow his words and help the down-trodden. Distribution of sarees and dhotis to senior citizens and orphans, a series of blood donation camps, presenting aid to children's care centre are being planned on the day."

In the meantime, Kamal is busy shaping up his directorial venture Viswaroopam, which is said to be his magnum opus. 'The ace actor is doing multiple roles in this film. Its first schedule is over and the remaining portions will be shot in the United States and the United Kingdom,' sources say.
