Kangana Ranaut's next film with Hansal Mehta titled 'Simran' went on floors just a few days ago, the actress is currently shooting for the same in the US. Recently Kangana had an narrow escape as she met with a road accident. It all happened when she was returning to the hotel in Atlanta from the sets of the shoot. The incident took place in Georgia and some crew members were along with her too.

According to a leading daily, "A local driver was behind the wheel and was driving in the leftmost lane (meant for fast-moving traffic) on highway 381. Suddenly, he started coughing profusely and then blacked out while on the move. Kangana had a few minor scratches on her elbows and her forehead that bled a little, but nothing major happened. Similarly, Kangana's team members also suffered a few minor injuries. Later, the film's makers ensured that Kangana and the others went to the hospital for checkups to ensure no one suffered from any internal injuries."

Producer Shailesh R Singh quoted to a leading daily, "It was a narrow escape. It's a miracle that they had no injuries. Kangana is a brave girl. She refused to take a break and has resumed the shoot."
