(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Kanye West is believed to be dating former Pussycat Doll Melody Thornton.

The American rapper was spotted shopping with Melody at the Marc Jacobs womens store in New York during the retailers Fashions Night Out event as part of New York Fashion Week. The pair chatted to Vogue editor Anna Wintour and had photographs taken together before leaving the shop holding hands.

An insider told the New York Daily News the rap star has been dating 25-year-old singer/dancer Melody for only about two weeks and the pair are said to be getting on very well so far.

The 33-year-old musician split from his former girlfriend of two years, model Amber Rose, over the summer.

Since the split Amber is believed to have enjoyed dates with American football player Reggie Bush and is rumoured to be with the hip-hop star Fabolous at the moment.

It is thought Kanye and Melody may end up bumping into Amber and Fabolous as both couples are set to attend various events for the ongoing New York Fashion Week, notably a celebrity and designers after-party at the citys Highline Ballroom establishment. (C) Cover Media
