Kanye West is reportedly busy at work on his "next ingenious plan".

The innovative musician is currently writing tunes for his new album.

The Sun reports that Kanye is experimenting heavily with the sounds on his songs, adding wildlife samples.

Although animal sounds are present on his latest record with Jay-Z Watch The Throne, the hip hop star is said to be getting more extreme this time around.

"Kanye's telling mates this is his next ingenious plan," a source told British newspaper The Sun.

"He's become so obsessed with roars, barks and jungle noises that he's experimenting with putting them on a recording."

As Kanye's international "Watch The Throne" concert tour comes to a close soon, the rapper's romantic relationship with Kim Kardashian is heating up.

It is rumoured that he may be ready to become engaged to the TV reality star.

"Kanye asked Kim's mum Kris for ring advice, but she told him to go to her sisters Khlo and Kourtney, as Kim's told them she wants something very different to her last ring," a source told British magazine Closer recently. "Kanye has a New York jewellery designer and they've been talking ideas."

Kim is still in the process of annulling her 72-day marriage to Kris Humphries.
