Bollywood actress Huma Qureshi has recently been gripped by a new obsession. The actress, who has earned accolades for her performances in 'Gangs of Wasseypur', 'Ek Thi Daayan', 'Dedh Ishqiya', has now found a new interest.

She, who has always been a self-confessed fan of poems, has now turned her focus on Urdu verses.

Though she loves poems in other languages too, the actress is amazed at the depth Urdu poems too have to offer.

She has started collecting books with poems in Urdu. Though she already has a collection of sorts of Urdu poems by now, the actress regrets that she didn't start early.

"Poetry or Urdu shayari has so much beauty in the way it is written and recited. The interest in Urdu poetry has come to me very late. I wish I had discovered this gigantic treasure earlier," said Huma.
