Just recently it was heard that Karan Johar’s upcoming directorial venture "Student of the Year" will release against Shirish Kunder's "Joker" .

Nonetheless Karan shunned all such reports and claimed that all the gossips were untrue. “Farah is a really dear friend and I would never come up with the film the same day with her husband's film,” confirmed Karan. Kjo’s film "Student of the Year" reportedly is scheduled for 31st August release.

After clearing the issue he got talking about the excitement over his film. “I'm really excited about the three of them. Siddharth Malhotra, Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt all of them are very talented. I will not say much about them. You should see for yourself and base your opinion on what you see,” stated Karan.
