January 29, 2011 (Sampurn Wire): Television actor Karan Wahi, who became popular for his role Ranveer Sisodia in Star Ones youth based show Remix, has seemingly turned very choosy about his roles while picking new shows. The actor was the first choice for Star Plus show Love U Zinadgi, which is launching tonight but he chose to give it a miss.

Karan was approached to play the male lead in this new weekend show. He had a thorough discussion about the show with the production house Shreya Creations and the channel. So, the channel zeroed in him and stopped further search for the male lead as they found him best suitable to play the character.

However, things started changing when Karan stopped replying calls from the production house and seemed losing interest in the show. He even did not sign the contract. A source close to the development was quoted saying that Karan could use this as a golden opportunity but things did not work out finally. Initially he showed interest but he did not turn for meetings and this led to his removal from the show.

Confirming the news, Karan said that he was not convinced to work with the production house as it did not click him.

The show is launching tonight at the 7-8 pm slot and will be aired every Saturday and Sunday. However, the entry of male lead will take place after some time, so the channel has some time to search for a perfect face to replace Karan.
