Saif Ali Khan badly hurted his thumb while shooting for his home production film on June 25, 2016. The actor was immediately rushed to the hospital. Saif was admitted to Kokilaben Ambani hospital where he underwent a minor surgery. Now the actor is back home. 

His sister Soha Ali Khan confirmed the news stating, "Bhai hurt his thumb while shooting, but timely medical attention was provided. His recovery process has already begun. Thank you all for your concerns and prayers." She also added, "He is recovering well, thank you for asking - had hurt his thumb quite badly but is on the mend happily."

Kareena Kapoor Khan was also spotted stepping out of the hospital earlier today morning.
