Bollywood’s Numero Uno actress Kareena Kapoor scores a hat-trick with her latest release 'Bodyguard'.

Beating all pre-opening estimations, the opening day collections equaled a whopping, never-seen-before, 20 crores, making it historic and is estimated to cross 40 crores in 2 days of its release.

This is not the first time for Kareena Kapoor, who was also a part of the Aamir Khan starrer '3 Idiots' in 2009 that earned a whopping 315 crores worldwide, in just 19 days and had an opening collection of approximately 14 crores.

In 2010, Kareena was also the lead actress in the comic riot 'Golmaal 3', another big grosser at the box-office, with opening weekend net collections that stood at  33.5 crore making it the second highest-grossing Bollywood film of 2010.

Says a trade analyst “Kareena Kapoor rules the roost and for the last 3 years has been part of the biggest grosser of the year. She is Bollywood’s highest paid actress and going by the results, it sure is well deserved”

Kareena Kapoor is also the leading actress in the brand space, with the highest number of brands in her kitty, in comparison to her contemporaries.
