Karthi debuted in the industry in 2007 and has left his mark on Kollywood in such a short span. 

The star is only six films old and yet falls in the league of superstars like Vijay, Ajith Kumar and his own brother Suriya, at least when it comes to the signing amount. Apparently, a producer was ready to pay 13 crores for the star’s dates.

His charm and ability to get into the skin of the role gives him a unique identity. Currently, Karthi is working on Suraj’s 'Alex Pandian' and Venkat Prabhu’s 'Biryani'.
