Kartik Aaryan and Diljit Dosanjh were set to share screen space together for their upcoming flick 'Boom Boom' in New York. However, it did not happen as one of them opted out from the project. Now, a source tells us that the two actors will be pairing for an upcoming film to be produced by Ramesh Taurani. "It's a romantic comedy story with the two actors in the lead. The hunt for the female lead is currently underway and will be locked soon," says a close source. The untitled film is slated to go on the floors in May or June this year. 

Diljit who made his way in Bollywood was through the film 'Udta Punjab' opposite Kareena Kapoor Khan in which he played a cop. The 34-year-old is currently shooting for the biopic on veteran hockey player Sandeep Singh, after which he will start this yet-to-be-titled film.

On the other hand, Kartik Aaryan, is ready for the release of 'Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety' along with the same team of his hit 'Pyaar Ka Punchnama' franchise along with director Luv Ranjan and co-stars Nushrat Bharucha and Sunny Singh. 

Both the actors are well-known for their comic timing and roping them in for a romantic comedy seems a really good idea.
