(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Matt Bellamy has released an intimate image of fiance Kate Hudson with their newborn son.

Hollywood actress Kate gave birth to her and rocker Matt's first child together last month, a boy named Bingham Bing' Hawn Bellamy.

The pair have been keeping the tot out of the limelight until now, with Matt posting the first public image of Kate and Bingham on his Twitter page.

The artistic shot sees Kate looking serene and make-up free with the adorable little boy clinging to her.

Matt didn't make any long gushing statements to accompany the image, simply writing; "Family life!"

Being mom to a newborn certainly agrees with Kate, who already has seven-year-old son Ryder with ex-husband Chris Robinson. The actress appears to be enjoying it just as much second time around.

Matt's Twitter page has been a useful source for baby updates as it was there that the baby's original name was first revealed.

"So happy! Just had a baby boy, Bingham 'Bing' Hawn Bellamy," he tweeted last month.

"Mum and baby are strong and healthy. Mum was a warrior, Bing popped out after 4.5 hours of intense pushing (sic)!" (C) Cover Media
