(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Joe Jonas was "swarmed" by female fans in Las Vegas while celebrating his birthday at the weekend.

The Jonas Brothers star turns 22 on Monday, and decided to start the celebrations early. He donned a pair of swim shorts at the VIP area of the Liquid Pool Lounge on Saturday, much to the delight of his female admirers.

Joe then headed to the Bellagio Hotel where he and his entourage enjoyed a meal. The group later made a fleeting visit to Deuce Lounge, where they played blackjack, and caught the attention of more doting fans.

The singer then headed to Haze Nightclub, where he gave club goers an exclusive performance of his new tracks.

"Female fans surrounded the area, trying to get a glimpse of [Joe] in his bathing suit," a source told People of the Liquid Pool Lounge party.

"Joe was swarmed by nearly 20 female fans dying to get an autograph or photo with [him].

"After signing autographs and meeting fans, Joe finally made it to Haze Nightclub where he rocked the crowd with a special live set, performing tracks off of his debut solo album FastLife."

The performance ended around 2.30am, and Joe spent the rest of the night in the VIP area "chatting with a bevy of beautiful girls".

The star received a keyboard-shaped birthday cake in celebration of his big day.

A source at the club says Joe "loved" being the centre of attention at his birthday bash.

"Girls were pushing to get near him," the source revealed. "He was definitely loving the attention." (C) Cover Media
