Kate Hudson always worries about how "mean" she's coming across in Glee.
The Hollywood actress is a guest star on the hit musical TV series alongside Lea Michele. Kate - who is appearing in six episodes of the show's upcoming season - plays dance teacher Cassandra July who gives Lea's character Rachel a hard time.
"I'm really enjoying it. It's really fun. Lea is so great, we have a good time, but every time they call cut, I'm like, 'Oh my God I'm so mean!'" she laughed in an interview with Access Hollywood. "But it's great. [Lea] was just so sweet. We just had a great time. We were both excited."
It's not the first time Kate has used her singing and dancing talents for a role. The blonde beauty performed a few musical numbers for big screen movie Nine, and she is embracing the fun elements of her Glee character.
"Nerves, but more excited I think, you know, because it's like being a little kid again doing all three, dancing and singing and acting. I love it, I just love it," she smiled when asked if she felt anxious ahead of performing the numbers.
Kate is excited for her character to cause a stir amongst the cast.
"I'm at the mercy of television I guess, that's how it works. You never know. I believe I'm doing six [episodes] and we'll see where it all goes," she explained.
"I think it gets pretty saucy. I think Cassandra brings some drama. Some real drama".
