(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Kate Middleton has reportedly embarked on a bridal boot camp ahead of her wedding to Britains Prince William.
The royal couple announced their engagement last year, and will wed at Westminster Abbey in London on April 29. Kate is keen to look as good as possible for her big day as she knows she will be watched by people around the globe, so has been working hard to get in shape.
The 29-year-old is renowned for being fit she trained to row across the English Channel for charity in 2007 but has now ramped her training regime up a notch.
According to Grazia, the star is following a bridal boot camp which has seen her install training equipment in the home she shares with William. She has a rowing machine in her house which she spends at least half an hour on a day. She also has a step machine and a treadmill, on which she runs for an hour every day. She used to run outside but had to stop because of security concerns after their engagement was announced, a source told the publication.
Kate has also overhauled her diet, and has ditched junk food in favour of healthy meals. She is said to be favouring white meat such as chicken and turkey over its red alternative, and has also started munching organic items.
She eats a lot of omelettes and really loves beans on toast made with brown bread, the source added.
Kate is thought to have lost around 16lbs. recently, with the stress of organising the wedding part of the reason. She recently attended the wedding of a friend, and her slim physique was commented on by many.
Palace staff are keen to offer her as much support as possible to ensure she is able to enjoy the run up to her special day rather than spend it being anxious and stressed. A wellness coach has reportedly been employed to help Kate learn about healthy eating and exercise. (C) Cover Media
