(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Kate Moss is reportedly engaged to rocker Jamie Hince and the pair are planning to marry in the summer.

The 37-year-old British supermodel met the guitarist with rock band The Kills, in 2007 and they soon began dating. Marriage rumours have constantly swirled in the past two years, but it has now been reported Jamie proposed on Tuesday evening. The couple were reportedly about to go to sleep when Jamie surprised Kate by getting down on one knee and presenting her with a vintage engagement ring.

"Kate is delighted. Jamie is the man for her - they are soul mates. She just wanted to make him work for her hand in marriage. He has been badgering her to get married but she wanted to take her time, a source told British newspaper The Sun. "Over the last year they have grown so close, they are like man and wife. They're going to have the mother of all weddings. It will be a huge party, one of the biggest she has ever thrown - and she's thrown a few."

Kate was thrilled to discover Jamie, 40, had acted like a true gentleman and asked her parents before he proposed. It is believed the pair will tie the knot on July 2 and Kates eight-year-old daughter, Lila, will be chief bridesmaid.

The couple have been sharing their happy news with friends and family, and they celebrated their engagement with a candlelit dinner at Cecconi restaurant in London this week.

Congratulatory bouquets of flowers and gifts have been spotted arriving at their home in North London.

Last year it was reported Kate had secretly married Jamie on idyllic Italian island of Sicily, but this was later dismissed by the couple. (C) Cover Media
