(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Josh Kelley has joked that he is his wife Katherine Heigls good luck charm.

The singer-songwriter met the American actress when she starred in the promo for his 2005 song Only You and they married two years later. Katherines career has soared since she started a relationship with Josh. She was cast in US medical drama Greys Anatomy in 2005, and has gone on to appear in a number of Hollywood blockbusters.

Josh released his first record in 2003 and has joked some of his success must have rubbed off on Katherine when they began dating.

Its all because of me. Clearly, Im her good luck charm, he laughed.

Josh is currently promoting his new LP Georgia Clay, which is his first country release. The first single, which shares the title of the record, was co-written by Josh and his brother Charles, who is in band Lady Antebellum, along with producer Clint Lagerberg.

Josh insists he and Charles dont vie to sell the most albums, even though they can be fiercely competitive when it comes to other areas of their lives.

Music is not a competition, he told WWD. When we play golf, Ping-Pong or poker, were crazy competitive, but when it comes to music, we support each other.

Josh has always been interested in country music and cant wait to see how Georgia Clay is received. Later this year he will be the opening act for Taylor Swift and he is already looking forward to staging his own tour.

I want to headline stadiums in three years, he said. When Im performing live shows, I want them to get bigger and bigger, have a solid fan base and create a runway for the long term. (C) Cover Media
