Bollywood actress Ayesha Takia recently started receiving threatening messages from a stranger. Not getting help on the ground level her husband Farhan Azmi made it public and pleaded for help via Twitter and wrote,"My wife @Ayeshatakia, mother & sisters are being harassed, threatened stalked by a litigant, @MumbaiPolice #dcpDahiya refusing to answer my calls or messages. #DahiyaIPS has illegally frozen our bank accounts Dear PM @narendramodi ji @SushmaSwaraj Pls intervene!! #betibachao."

The couple claims that DCP Dahiya of the Mumbai Police ignored their calls multiple times and did not even bother to reply to his messages too, and even illegally froze their bank accounts. Hence, the actress' husband took a step further and tagged PM Narendra Modi, and External Affairs Minister, Sushma Swaraj, tweeting the entire matter. 

After the matter was resolved Ayesha Takia's husband tweeted,"Thank you @DevenBhartiIPS Ji #MumbaiPolice for stepping in. I trust the Mumbai Police. 3 rotten apples cannot spoil #theappletree @CPMumbaiPolice @MumbaiPolice."
