The Indian Premiere League (IPL) is all set to roll out and it is making headlines, mostly for good reasons. The venture which comes as a perfect blend of wholesome entertainment and sports will commence its 6th season from April 3, 2013.
Recently, it was reported that the inaugural night, which is being organized by Shah Rukh Khan's banner Red Chillies Entertainment, will see performances by some of the world's biggest entertainers.
While performances by Bollywood beauties Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone have already been confirmed, it was reported that SRK's company had approached International music sensations Jennifer Lopez (read news) and DJ Tiesto (read news) to perform at the IPL opening night, but unfortunately that did not work out.
However, the team has managed to rope in the International pop sensation Armando Perez aka Pitbull. The 'Kings of Crunk' and 'Rebelution' star Pitbull will perform with SRK and Katrina. Pitbull is extremely excited with the opportunity to perform at the IPL and based on sources close to the International pop star, it did not take him long to give his nod for the event as he holds fond memories of his performances in India.
SRK, Katrina, Deepika and now Pitbull, looks like IPL has taken the excitement among the fans to a different level.
