In a career spanning for over a decade, Bollywood's leading actress Bipasha Basu has multiple projects to her credit. Ranging from commercial potboilers to unconventional films and art house cinema, the Bengali star has done it all.
But when it comes to horror films, no one from the current lot of actresses has left a mark like Bipasha. Having done films like 'Raaz', 'Raaz 3' and her latest 'Aatma', Bipasha confesses that horror is an untapped genre in Bollywood.
When it comes to her choices, she states that she has never restricted herself to a specific category as she loves doing unconventional and experimental films.
"I choose films on my interest. If a script manages to stay with me for a long time after narration, I tend to sign the film regardless of the genre or the nature of the film. I look for connect with the audiences and entertainment value in the film," said Bipasha.
'Aatma' has received luke-warm response at the box office so far, but Bipasha has certainly been appreciated by the critics and her fans for her gripping performance in the flick.
This makes Bipasha a strong actor for opting to do horror movies, a genre, where established actresses tend to shy away.
