(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Katy Perry has joked she smacked Rihanna on the ass when she missed her wedding.

Singer Katy married comedian Russell Brand at a ceremony in India, near to where he popped the question last New Years Eve. Barbadian Rihanna, one of Katys closest friends, was due to be her maid of honour but couldnt make the ceremony due to work commitments.

Afterwards there were rumours the pair had fallen out over the episode but Katy insists all is well between the two pop stars - although she did tease Rihanna for not attending the nuptials.

I bent her over and smacked her on the ass... and then I forgave her and then I said, I love you, b***h! she told Extra.

Katy also offered some insights into the union between herself and Russell. The pair are happier than ever, and have soon adapted to married life.
