(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Katy Perry is fond of British beans on toast even though the combination makes her "bloat".

Katy is currently in the UK to perform a string of shows. The singer thoroughly enjoys visiting the country, as it gives her easy access to one of her favourite meals.

"I love coming to London so I can have baked beans on toast," Katy explained to British newspaper The Sun. "They do bloat me and I'm afraid I'm going to go off like a firework, but I do love them."

The singer did not waste any time garnering ingredients for her snack. Within hours of touching down in London, Katy visited the food hall in London department store Harrods.

"Katy's love for classic British food was evident at the weekend when she filled her trolley with 20 cans of beans," a source told The Sun. "She didn't stop piling them in."

Katy's shopping cart was also overflowing with other British goodies.

"She also bought Marmite, Twinings tea, chocolate digestives as well as the posher stuff, including Harrods shortbread," the source described.

Katy will perform in cities across the UK including Liverpool, Manchester and Glasgow into early November. (C) Cover Media
