Her debut single Tik Tok reached number one in 11 countries and her first album Animal - released in January 2010 entered the US charts at number one. By September, the star had released three more top ten singles. Since hitting superstardom, Kesha has revealed she attracts some strange fans.

The star who has cited Madonna and Debbie Harry as her musical influences added that her behaviour whilst touring can get boisterous. She is currently doing the Future Music Festival in Australia with fellow musicians Mark Ronson and MGMT, and has admitted they have an unusual way of tackling their fear of flying.

Im on the Future Music Festival so we all fly from show to show together Ronsons band and MGMT, and myself we are all stuck on these tiny aeroplanes and we are all scared of flying, she explained.
