(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Kelsey Grammers estranged wife is still in love with him, and is happy they had a good run at marriage.

The 55-year-old actor split from Camille Donatacci, his third wife, earlier this year. He is now in a relationship with 29-year air stewardess Kayte Walsh, and it is believed they are planning to marry next year.

Kelsey and Camille have nine-year-old daughter Mason and son Jude, six, together. She is still trying to get over their split, explaining she hopes they can build a friendly relationship in the future for the sake of their kids.

We've been together for 14 years, I thought we had a really good run of it. I still love my husband, my soon to be ex-husband. I respect him as a person, she explained to Extra. I would love to have an open dialogue with my husband at this point because I think it's really important to co-parent, and the only way we're going to co-parent the correct way is if we talk, and right now it's through e-mail and lawyers.

Camille has found the Christmas period extremely tough, as it used to be her and Kelseys favourite time of year. They would spend hours making their home look festive, but instead of wallowing in the past Camille has decided to look to the future. She wants to start finding new Christmas rituals with her children, and thinks its time to move on.

It's not easy. The loneliness - Kelsey and I, this was our favourite holiday to spend together. Kelsey enjoyed decorating the tree and that's something we all did as a family, and so last night I was decorating the tree with the kids alone and it brought a tear to my eye, or several, she said. It's definitely not easy. But you know, time to make new traditions. So I'm creating new traditions with my family and my children. (C) Cover Media
