(Cover) - EN Star Style - Kendra Wilkinson says she feels like a rookie when shes in dance class.
The reality television star is best known for appearing in hit US show The Girls Next Door which documented her time living with Playboy founder Hugh Hefner at the Playboy Mansion. The blonde bombshell left the programme in 2009, and her latest venture is competing in celebrity show Dancing with the Stars, which premieres tonight.
The 25-year-old is partnered with professional dancer Louis Van Amstel and has revealed she feels like a beginner when she takes part in his dance classes.
"Louis' dance class is way harder than dance rehearsal. I thought it was going to be a lot easier, but no - it's harder. I actually look like a rookie in here!" she told ET.
Kendra doesnt have any formal training and has admitted she gets worried that shes overloading her memory with too many dance steps. The mom-of-one says she has been holding back in dance classes because she doesnt want to feel overwhelmed for her Dancing with the Stars debut.
"Man, see I didn't want to go all out here because I didn't want to distract my mind -- because too much of something, you get overwhelmed. So I just wanted to have some fun and just loosen up here. Monday's coming up real fast, so I just want to be calm and do the best I can do on Monday, she added.
Dance partner Louis agreed that his dance classes are hard work, but has revealed that it is the best way for anyone to tone up. He says that because youre not consciously doing exercise, you are prone to working out for longer and losing more calories.
"I think dance is the best alternative to a work out because you don't really feel you're working out. You're not on the treadmill, you're not on the elliptical, you're dancing to music. And the fact that you burn a heck load of calories, and you're dancing to your favourite music," he added. (C) Cover Media
