(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Kim Kardashian is reportedly filing for divorce from Kris Humphries.

TMZ reports that the reality TV star will file legal papers this morning in the US, just 72 days after marrying basketball player Kris.

Despite the short marriage Kim is not seeking an annulment. She will reportedly cite "irreconcilable differences" as the reason behind the split.

The date for their separation has been listed as today, October 31.

Rumours of trouble in their marriage have been publicised for some time.

Kim was photographed alone at a Halloween party she was hosting in New York on Saturday. She said at the time that Kris had flown home to see his family in Minnesota.

The couple have a prenuptial agreement and Kim has hired attorney Laura Wasser to represent her. Laura has plenty of practice with high-profile celebrity break-ups. She has previously represented stars including Britney Spears, Angelina Jolie and Ryan Reynolds.

Kim and Kris were married on August 20 in a lavish ceremony in Montecito, California. It has been reported the nuptials cost a staggering $10 million. (C) Cover Media
