Kim Kardashian is apparently doing her best to shield her new friendship with Beyonce Knowles from her usual TV drama.

The 31-year-old reality star has become close to the Single Ladies singer since she started dating Kanye West who is close with Jay-Z.

And Life & Style reports that hanging out with the A-list superstars is exactly where Kim wants to be.

"Kim has wanted to be friends with Beyonc forever," an insider told the magazine. "'From the moment she started dating Kanye, it was her goal to hang with Bey."

Kim and Beyonc have built a friendship as they travelled the globe to support their men for the Watch The Throne tour but the reality star is "not allowed to talk about it."

"She'd be kicked out of the clique so quickly if she made any misstep," the insider said. "Kim has to earn everyone's trust. So she's respecting Beyonc's privacy and it fits in with the more private, post-divorce persona she wants anyway."

"They're really getting along well. Kim loves playing with Bey's daughter, Blue Ivy. Kim and Beyonc just laugh and hang out like normal girlfriends.

"Beyonc thinks Kim is great for Kanye. She and Jay have never seen him this content with a girlfriend. They're a great match."
