Kristen Bell says that it was challenging for her working with fiance Dax Shepard.

The 37-year-old Parenthood star directed his lady love in the comedy Hit & Run.

But Kristen told Us Weekly that it wasn't as easy as she thought it would be.

"I had trouble focusing," the 31-year-old told the publication. "He wore the big headset to listen to the audio and was squinting at the monitor."

"How am I supposed to pay attention when the man of my dreams is right in front of my face?"

But Dax has a different take on the matter saying romantically that "it was the best six weeks of our five years together."

Kristen is about to fulfill another career aspiration as she will be voicing the next Disney princess musical, Frozen.

"She sang on Broadway," Dax gushed about his wife-to-be. "She's really good!"
