Kim Kardashian says her and Kanye West have "insane chemistry", claims a source.

The two high profile stars have been romantically linked many times in the past and it's now thought they are dating. Kim - who is currently in the process of divorcing Kris Humphries following their 72-day marriage - has reportedly been gushing about the 34-year-old rapper.

However, sources close to the star are worried the union won't last.

"Kim and Kanye go way back and always had a bit of a thing for one another," an insider told British magazine Closer. "Kanye would love to be he knight in shining armour but, while Kim says they have 'insane chemistry,' the worry is, she just likes the attention."

"They've always joked they'd get together when they were single, but Kim's still on the rebound. After the divorce from Kris, she also got back with her ex Reggie Bush for a few weeks."

An insider last week claimed Kanye - who is friends with Jay-Z and his wife Beyonc Knowles - has fallen "genuinely head over heels" for Kim.

"It's not a PR stunt," the source told US Weekly magazine. "They're perfect for each other. He thinks she's his Beyonc!"
