Kim Richards has left her rehabilitation facility.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star checked into rehab earlier this month to treat her alcohol and prescription drug abuse.

People reports that Kim is faring well following her exit.

"She's doing okay," a source told the magazine. "The plan is for her to continue with outpatient therapy. Everyone is hoping for the best."

Kim was reportedly urged by television executives at Bravo network to seek help for her addiction, or risk losing her spot on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

The mother-of-four, who is Paris Hilton's aunt, is a former Disney actress, starring in several films in the 70s and 80s but faded into obscurity until her role in the reality show.

"The pressures the women face being on the show are enormous," a source previously told RadarOnline. "Kim was basically told that if she wanted to stay on the show then she had to get help, so she did. Kim doesn't have any other significant source of income and she needs to keep her job on the show."

Kim visited rehab several times in the past and almost died of alcohol poisoning years ago. She is now concentrating on improving the quality of her life.

"Kim is going to be focusing on staying healthy and happy and just wants to spend time with her family," the source continued. "It really is one step at a time."

Kim is currently spending time with her sister Kyle Richards in Los Angeles.

Kim's castmate Taylor Armstrong faced tragedy earlier this year, as her husband Russell Armstrong committed suicide by hanging in August.
